Group dog training

Tails about Town

Does your dog.....

  • Pull on the lead
  • Get distracted easily
  • Need interaction with other dogs and people
  • Have no road sense
  • Fail to come back when called
  • Try to pick up unknown items on a walk
  • Or just need basic training.

Tails about town is a brand new dog training solution unique to Dog Tired which can help you with all of these problems and is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities.

What is it?

As opposed to a conventional indoor dog training class which can only provide so much in terms of dealing with everyday issues, Tails about town provides you with the chance to train your dog in the real world. Meet like-minded people and provide your dog with the chance to interact with others while teaching your dog basic obedience and safety training.

Tails about town is something that the whole family can get involved in and in addition to providing your dog with valuable training, is a social opportunity for both you and your dog.

So how does it work?

We meet at 9.30am on a Sunday morning at the Manor Field and walk a pre-planned route around Whittlesey, designed to allow you the chance to practise sit, down, stay, recall, leave it, road safety, emergency stops and dealing with distractions. The route will last approximately 45 minutes and end back at the designated meeting point. We will then finish up with playtime for the dogs and the chance for you to ask any questions.
